Label respooler – questions & answers
Answers to common questions about the Label respooler and handling label rolls.
Does the label respooler turn the winding sense from inside to outside?
Yes. At a touch of a button you swap between inside- and outside-wound take-up. So you flip outside-wound rolls to inside-wound and back, just as your applicator demands.
Up to what roll diameter and weight does the unit work?
Label rolls up to 500 mm outer diameter and 20 kg run through. Larger bodies we realise as a special build to specification.
Which core and web width count as standard?
As standard the unit runs a 76 mm core and 100 mm web width. Other core sizes and widths we make to specification.
How do I view the labels while rewinding?
During transfer the web travels openly along the inspection field. At misprints or gaps you halt, work the poor labels loose, and then carry on.
Can a master roll be broken into several small ones?
Yes. You split a master roll into several smaller label rolls with a fixed label count, matched to individual stations or machines.
How quickly does the respooler transfer?
You meter the pace sensitively from standstill to full run. For visual checking you stay slow; for plain reworking you draw through more briskly.
Are compressed air or three-phase power needed?
No. The unit works plug-ready on 230 V. A strong motor and controls sit in the housing, the link runs through the ordinary wall socket.
Is the full station with pay-off and take-up sides offered?
Yes, to order. Pay-off and take-up sides start in step and hold the label web taut over the whole path.
