Why the Label respooler?
Mis-wound or unchecked label rolls bring printers and dispensing applicators to a halt. This is exactly where the label respooler steps in: it transfers the web from roll to roll, turns the winding sense as needed, and lays open every single label for visual checking.

As the web transfers, the whole strip travels openly along the inspection field. Print faults, gaps and damaged labels stand out, you stop right at the spot and lift the faulty label out.
Master roll up to 500 mm
Roll bodies up to 500 mm outer diameter and 20 kg run safely through the unit. The 76 mm core takes common label formats; differing core sizes we make to your specification.
Winding sense freely chosen
At a touch of a button you decide between inside- and outside-wound take-up. Each label roll thus matches the pay-off direction of the particular dispensing machine exactly.
Live on 230 V at once
Motor and controls already sit inside the housing. Plug into the wall socket, load the label roll, and the rewinding starts with no further installation.

Continuous duty in alu profile
The solid aluminium profile takes uninterrupted label work. Spring-loaded dancer arms acting on both sides trim the web tension and spare delicate label edges.
Drive with full command of the label web
A strong motor draws the labels evenly and gently from the pay-off to the take-up side. You meter the pace sensitively and change the winding sense in mid-run.

Where the label respooler is used
Turn the winding sense
Flip outside-wound label rolls to inside-wound so they fit the pay-off direction of the intended dispensing applicator.
Visual check before dispatch
Draw each label roll through in full before shipping, catch misprints and gaps at the inspection field, and lift out poor labels.
Break down a master roll
Split one large master roll into several smaller label rolls with a fixed label count for individual stations or machines.
Set up the applicator
Rework label rolls into the format and matching winding sense the label printer or dispensing machine requires.
Join up part rolls
Transfer opened label rolls under guidance and gather them into full rolls instead of binning usable material.
Check the print image
Draw freshly printed label rolls through slowly and spot-check ink lay-down, register and die-cut contour.
